When i picked up one of my chickens she gurgled alittle when she make her clucking chicken sounds. I felt her crop and it feels likeshe ate some straw and drank alittle water or something. I had spilled chicken food out side a few days ago and coverd it until i could remove it when the snow melted more, and well i removed it today and i guess alittle was left in some straw on the griwnd and the chickens where pecking at it :sick pilot seemed to be swallowing liqid from her crop about 10 min ago she was also turning her neck probaly becuase of that. Will the straw pass though her?

Small pieces of straw will go into her gizzard and should be able to be ground up by the grit in there. make sure to give her extra grit and watch to see if her crop goes down overnight, or for sour crop.
