just noticed my little blue laced red wyandotte (FAVORITE) is hiding form everyone, looked her over and she's got a lump in her crop, kinda hard about the size of a lime. whats weird is the skin on her crop is grey and poofy? like soft swelling. you can see the "pores" ? where the feathers come out, indented from the swelled grey skin around it. gonna bring her inside a feed her some olive oil soaked things and give her a nice massage. anyone else have any idea why the skin here is grey? is it because its a sour crop as apose to impacted? thank you
