In the coop

Hello, I just have one question. At night I will be putting my chickens in the indoor part of the coop(they will not be in the run), so should I put food and water in the inside of the coop for the night, or are they okay till morning?

I like food and water in the coop.

But they'll survive a night without it. What's your weather
doing? In extreme cold, I didn't let them out every day.

But I'm sure others did. Almost more of a personal choice.

Chickens don't eat or drink in the dark. I leave the feeder and waterer out in the run since my hens have free access to the run once it's dawn.
