Well today is a gorgeous day here in ireland so i decided to show you my flock. Enjoy

This is my nest box i made out of old wood and a bit of old wire at the bottom to keep the hay in. The hens used to always lay outside and i would come and find crows eating eggs. Now i made this box they all laid the next day in it all of them!!

They're so beautiful and I love the eggs in the nest boxes. I know it's strange, but ever since my girls started laying-that's one of my favorite sights! lol Congrats on your beautiful flock!!

Hello from Arizona USA, I love the Photo's of your Flock. I have never seen a speckled Sussex before. They are wonderful. I'm impressed with them. All of your photos are great and your flock sure looks Happy! Boy, the grass sure does look GREEN. My Grandfather's RIP family were from Ireland. I always wanted to come for a visit. Your post caught my eye. What kind of a coop do you have? What are the best breeds to have?

I thought I was the only one who has a Scarecrow on their pen/coop. Love Yours.

My coop is a tin hut with some roosts they love it. If u are looking for good egg layers get a hybrid our a light sussex. beautiful speckled sussex or silver hamburg mix
