    my baby chickens came in today and do i have to fed them sugar water or just plan water i got 25 ameruacana pullets and 15 doniminique pullets and 5 ameracana roos

    If they seem healthy and active, just give them plain water. If they were in transfer (mail or traveling to you) for longer than 3 or 4 days, you might try the sugar water. I had a couple that didn't seem to "get it" when I dipped their little beaks in the h2o, so I added some clean white stones and marbles to the water dish. They'll be curious and peck at those, and it will help them to drink.

    I have two tiny Easter Egger (what you're calling ameracauna) pullets - are all yours the same color or a bunch of different colors?

    Good luck with your peeps - we'd love to see photos (can't get enough pictures of baby peeps!).

    all different colors i did not have to teach them to drink they did drink and eat and a lot of it
