I love D'Uccles/Booted Bantams, because they are small, quiet, sweet and lay pretty good sized eggs for their adorable bantam size. I have had 4 of them, 3 girls and a boy and all of them were great! The two younger ones were feral and raised by a mean broody still were sweet compared to the Barney's they were raised with. They come in great colours and are super gentle birds for a 4H kid like myself, I have never seen or heard of an aggressive Rooster or Hen and they are the most wonderful things to watch!
 
I like buff orpingtons best of what i've had so far.

I really want to get some D'uccles though.

Edit: Anybody have any near Aurora WV? (D'uccles)
