Hi I’m incubating duck eggs and they are on day 23,I self made an incubator and the ducks seem to be thriving however one of them looks like this? I’m trying not to worry and hope it’s still going to hatch I’ve never incubated eggs so I’m not sure. I also don’t see movement :(

Duck eggs need to be kept at an exact temperature of 37.5 degrees.
It may also be a humidity issue. You did keep a little cup of water in your incubator didn’t you?

Sorry had meant to lol

And yes I have water in there as well as a wet towel covering it and a mist bottle I spray inside the container

I’m so sorry, that egg is dead.
I’m completely sure,I had a same egg looking exactly like that, without veins.I waited for 3 days and it let out a ghastly smell.Only then did I crack it open and realise it had died days ago, there’s no point in keeping the dead one cooped up with others.
