Hi, I just got 4 goose eggs, and I was wondering about the incubation. I've heard alot about letting the eggs cool to room temp for 30 min every day, and misting them at the end of the 30 min. Do you do that from the beginning of the 'bation? Or do you start doing that later on? [IMG]

They are supposed to hatch anywhere from the 24-30th. I will keep this updated![IMG]

thats a 6 day window. Goose eggs dont sit in lock downfor 6 days, just three like other eggs. When did you set them in the incubator?

Are the 4 goose eggs from your geese or purchased??? As Celtic says the eggs go into lock down on the 28th day. You only leave them cool for 5-10 minutes a
    day.
Petes guide to hatching geese eggs is Wonderful to go by!!!! Make sure to use it you will have better hatches that way.

I got my goose eggs from a guy at my church. I asked him what kind they were and he said, "White ones." So who knows what they are.[IMG]
I looked at the pamphlet that came with the 'bator and it said geese take 28-34 days to hatch, so that's what I put on my calender. If anyone can narrow it down, that would be great. I set them on the 24th. Also read Pete's guide, it was very useful![IMG]

Well now that narrows it down some with them being white ones. [IMG] Here are two that I know are white embeden and chinese geese.
Just use Pete's guide to hatch your eggs.
