Should I let the mother sit her own eggs or bring them in to incubate?

You can let her hatch eggs, but only if she is broody. Be prepared with an incubator just incase she stops brooding before the eggs are ready to hatch. Also keep in mind that not every broody hen makes for a good mother once those chicks hatch. Some hens will kill chicks, some will ignore them, some hens, try as they might, will be complete and utter ditzs. Let her do her thing, but be ready to intervene, if needed.
