I have had bantam eggs in the incubator that hatched in 19 days, and I am about to put in a bunch of silkie eggs. Should I assume that they will have the same incubation period as a full size chicken, or should I stop turning in anticipation for a bantam time frame?

Last time I didn't know there could be a timing difference and was turning eggs when I saw a pip. [IMG]

Banty usually hatch one day early, but treat them like any other chicken.

Ok, good to know. I'm going to be putting 36 in and didn't want to botch it [IMG]
