Hi Ben, I am curious as to what kind of Christmas celebrations are going on there.

I would also like to hear about how you celebrated Hanukkah.

You do amazing in English. I know a Hebrew word here and there from the Bible, no writing at all.

Thanks!
In the majority of Israel we don't celebrate Christmas, except from the parts that have a large population of christian, like Nazareth, Jerusalem, and some parts of Haifa, and Tel-aviv. A lot of non christian Israelis use to visit in the week before the holiday an in the day Itself, to enjoy the good shopping, the sights, and the overall
atmosphere!
Sadly thus year due the security situation, the visits are down.
Hanuuka is time for having a good quality time with your family, visit friends, tell stories related to the holiday and eat so e good quality Donates!
In my family we took a short visit to the Galilee, where we staid in a beautiful hotel in a kibbutz called Ha'goshrim ,with good friends, We had really good time!
