    I have some new layers and was wondering how soon can I incubate the fertile eggs.

    Hi, I'll be glad to test your eggs for you to see if they are ready! Actually usually 30 days after first eggs are laid, you can also check for fertility dog on the eggs when opened.

    Welcome to BYC. My husband and I have a small chemical free farm in Bowdon GA where we raise chickens, geese, ducks, turkeys guinease, rabbits, milk goats, beef, pigs and more

    if you have an active rooster, I've had first laid eggs hatch, but i wait at least 10 days from 1st egg
