hi everyone,
my (still air) incubator has been running for 24 hours at 100 degrees but the humidity is 78%. do i need to lower the humidity before i put my button quail eggs in?

Buttons do best at 50% to 60% for the duration of the hatch... also, temp in a still air should be 101.5, but 100 works as well.

Hope this helps!

I don't know about buttons, but if you pull all the plugs. Increase the temp to 101, you should get around 55% humidity, at 101.

If that doesn't work, then reduce the surface area of your water by 10-15%. That should get you in the 45-55% area.
