This weekend while we were away from the incubator for a couple days we must of had a power outage as when we got back the incubator was at 120 degrees :-( eggs were pretty much exploding *sniffle* we had at least 10 chicks pass away due to the random jumping in temp. We finally got it to stabilize last night just under 99.5 (pry like 98 or so). But then again this morning it jumped like crazy without being touched back into the 100's. ... so here is the question. We are a low budget operation but we are really enjoying hatching our own eggs we have done two already :-) which aint much but we are proud! what should we do?
I have been looking online to possibly get a better incubator (maybe an early gift to my boyfriend). any suggestions would be awesome!

The "Little Giant" temperature spike syndrome. Get rid of it. There are dozens of posts on this site concerning people who have cooked their eggs with the Little Giant due to temperature spikes. Get you a GQF Hovabator preferably with a fan in it.

Thanks!
I will let my boyfriend know (we are still so new to this) :-)
