Hello! I've been following this site and all the incubator advice for several weeks and just purchased a Hovabator Deluxe Egg Incubator Combo kit and the HumidiKit to start our own chicken flock. When I was in highschool we borrowed an incubator and hatched out our own eggs. Those chicks ended up being sterile because of improper incubation techniques. Thus, I am very grateful for forums like this to help me along now as we build a flock of chickens for our own home! My 5y/o daughter is super excited about seeing the baby chicks hatch! Though I've raised chickens before, I consider myself to be a newbie to hatching out chickens myself. Any advice for novices that you may be able to offer would be incredibly helpful! Sincerely, Hannah
