I looked for something but I just couldn't find anything on my question. So, If an incubator holds 4 dozen eggs, can it be only filled with half a dozen to 2 dozen, or will it affect the chicks inside the egg? Pretty much if I buy an incubator and it can hold 4 dozen eggs, will it hurt any of the chicks to only fill it half or less with eggs?

This is a link to the incubator in question: http://www.chickensforbackyards.com...ted-Air-Incubator-with-Auto-Turner-FI4200.htm

I hope this answers your question. I have a sportman incubator, it can take about 270 eggs at a time. I can set 2 eggs if I want, or 200, no different to the machine. The maximum # tell you the max you can place in it, you can always go less.

Thank you! This definitely answers my question. Thank you!
