I built a cabinet incubator and put a waffer thermostat in it. I wanted an electronic one but didn't wanna dish out 80 bucks. I just seen a honeywell one at wal mart the ones for a house. Would something like this work? It was only 20 bucks.

Quote:To answer your question, pretty much NO. Most of these "home heating and cooling" thermostats require 24 volts to operate. I doubt your heating circuit in your bator is that.....prolly 120v. Secondly, these thermostats have a "differential that's waaaaay yonder too far apart for holding +/- 1 degree. Not quite $80, but I'd give this a chance..... http://incubatorwarehouse.com/index.php/digital-electronic-egg-incubator-thermostat.html
