I got a brinsea eco 30, hand turn and the directions read do not adjust incubator temp setting for first 24 hrs.

Well, my "factory pre-set" was between 102 and 104. After 24 hrs I have gotten it down to 100 and going a bit down still to hopefully 99.5 or 99.8. So these past 26 hrs--have I created boiled eggs, should I start over due to these initial high temps? Any advice greatly appreciated!

If you have the time go ahead and see what happens if the internal of the eggs are not 105+ they still might hatch... but early.

99.5 might be too low- is it still air or circulated?

I would leave them and candle at day 5. They might be fine.

Fan, not still air, should I shoot for 99.8 or 100? I'll go ahead and wait 5 days Thanks to both of you.
