I have bought one but the blower does not work will that matter it has the turner but no blower
I don't have a blower in mine and they are great!
I also don't have a fan. So far I'm doing ok without one
What will it take to get it working?
so just put the eggs in and keep temp on 99
What kind of incubator do you have? If it's a still air, typically in any model it will require a higher temp of 101 - 102 or so, but depends on what model incubator you have.
It's good to fire up your bator and the temp & humidity get acclimated and let it run 12 hrs or so before you set the eggs.
Hope this helps! Good luck! What kind of eggs are you going to hatch?
AS Smitty suggests, you have a still air unit, if the fan isnt working. They have been the standard for a lot of years, so dont fret too much.
But the fan is there for a reason - it helps to evenly distribute air and thus heat around the egg chamber. Try to get it working for the next batch, or before you set your first in it...
Quote:If it really has a fan and is not still air and you bought it new I would take it back. If you bought it used that probably isn't an option so figure it as a still air incubator 101-102.
