incubator ?

how well do the still air incubators work I was looking at one for $50 @ tsc and are they just a waste of money and does the hatch rate suffer.

I had a 50% hatch rate. You have to work on raising the humidity because the tray in the bottom is too small. And set the temp 1 degree higher than it says because I followed the directions and the eggs hatched two days late at 99.5. Set the little thermometer on top of the eggs. Eggs do best on the center of the incubator.

If this is your first incubator, give it a shot. It's not too bad for the price.

P.s.-- it did best for me set up in a closet away from sudden temp changes!!
