I only own one silkie chicken and I’m going to keep her inside my house and would like some ideas of a coop for her. Could I get some suggestions on the size it should be? Because she doesn’t always stay in it when I am home I have her out with me a lot.

Basic coop size calls for 4 square feet per bird. Can get away with 3 with bantams and smaller birds. Go from there. Just as an aside, most hens do better with at least one companion, they are flock animals after all. Much as she may love you and vice versa, you really don't speak the same language... :)

Try one of those dog crates like this

make sure it has the pan on the bottom to easier cleaning. You put cardboard or plastic around the bottom to help keep shavings or whatever you use for bedding from getting out.

I really like this. Credits to lipstick and chickens in Instagram. I don't know if she has a BYC account.
