Hi, I'm planning on raising quails inside my house and I need some information on how to start. Things I really need help on is what kind of light they need and how much. And temperatures. I can't have them outside cause winters on the way. Hope I can get some help thanks!

Welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our flock. I'm a chicken person and don't know much about quail (never had any), but they sure are cute little birds. You should post on our quail section at https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/48/quail, and take advantage of our quail experts there. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your house quail.

[IMG] So glad you joined us.

No experience with quail, but if they make as much dust as chickens, think carefully about where in your house you will place them. Agree post the issue on Quail forum, some likely can give you the specific advice you seek.
