Info needed on x breed please

Hello
I’ve been given a few eggs from a friend and I wondered if anyone can tell me
1 if you can sex the hatched chicks straight away and if so how?
2 anyone have pictures of the same x breed?
3 will they lay coloured eggs?

cock bird is a white leghorn and hen is a cream legbar, eggs are currently blue

any info much appreciated

Has the hen been with that rooster the whole time? If so, her eggs may be fertile. You can check. Otherwise, I'd give them a month to get used to the change and then check for fertility. Also, if she hasn't been with him, this time will allow any other rooster's sperm to expire. A hen can keep sperm for a month.

You can find others who have made this cross by Googling it. It brings up similar threads on BYC. It’s actually a pretty common cross for blue layers. The chicks will probably be mostly white with small crests and should lay powder blue eggs. I don’t believe they can be sexed at hatch.
