Just want some basic info on caring for them.
Hi, I really have very few clues for you. I just recall they have spitting tendancies and depending on where you live, they may have restrictions. I would suggest calling a zoo and asking to talk with a zoo keeper, maybe intern there before getting one. Let us all know how this turns out!
Yeah i looked and i saw that in alaska you can have camels...And i will try calling a zookeeper but i am curious how others have raised their camels (if there is anyone with camels
hey armd, we COULD get a permit and we COULD call a zoo keeper and we COULD mysteriously end up with a camel one day.....
its either a camel or maybe reindeer or yak...not sure what the easiest one to raise is though...
once i was at a zoo and brushed a camels teeth. Those were some clean teeth.
All I know is that they don't require much water and they don't drink coffee at all (it's because they HATE it when someone asks, "One hump, or two?")
i also know this: they have bad smoking habits. Two packs a day.
Camels are quite common livestock in some parts of the world. I vaguely recall someone talking about raising camels on BYH many months ago. People even milk them and drink the milk.
