Its strange, I've never seen anything like it. She wasn't anywhere that she could've gotten splayed leg, she was in the coop with mama. I dont think anything broken. I've got her rigged up for now and she's alert, eating and grooming herself.

Whelp, after two days of being in the cup, I took her out and it didn't work. Her leg is still useless and just kind of hangs behind her. I reluctantly brought her back to the mama at night. Mama took her right back and snuggled the chick back under her. I figured she'd be a goner early the next morning. (I have about 50 birds in the coop/large shed.) But surprisingly the chick was somehow managing to get around, and the mama is a beast of a hen - kept all the other chickens away from the injured chick. I've been bringing the baby back in the house during the day bc she won't be able to keep up mama and the other three chicks. Today, baby chick helped me weed and debug the strawberry asparagus beds. Shes super alert, eats great, was even attempting a dirt bath today. I've never had a chicken without the use of a leg, but I'm hoping it will have a quality life. Seems to be doing alright so far with a little help.

Thanks again everyone for the help!
