Injured chicken

I have a 6 mo old chicken that was injured by a dog. The dog crabbed her, but didn't seem to leave any bite wounds, the dog dropped the chicken and she appeared to be just shaken and shocky. After 4 days she has been eating, drinking and pooping, but not walking around. She puts her weight on her feeet, and wings look good. Each day is a little better, but wonder if she shouldn't be a lot better by now? If she has cracked ribs, vet said (via phone), she would eventually heal. Wonder if anyone has had similar experience?

Welcome to BYC. It's good that she is eating and drinking, and can stand. She may have an internal injury that needs time to heal, or just be very sore all over. Feel of her ribs and abdomen and neck area for any balloon-like areas, just in case she has any damage to an air sac. She could have a leg sprain, and they can take a few weeks to heal.
