Hi I am new to BYC. We have 8 old girls who are only laying 1-2 eggs a day, so we bought 4 - 16 week old chicks from the local feed store. The owner was very rough with the chicks and picked them up by a wing and threw them into our cage. When we got home we realized that one of the chicks couldn't stand. We have her isolated with food, water, heat and greens. She's drinking but not eating very much. Today we noticed that her ankle? is very swollen. Could it be broken or sprained? What should we do.
