I have a small flock of 12 chickens and one rooster that I keep mainly because he is cool. A few weeks ago he cut his wing on a piece of metal roofing that blew off in a wind storm. I applied blue kote and the hens kept packing at it so I moved him to a pen in the barn for 10 days. Last night I examined in the wing and it appeared to be all healed up so I put him back with the hens and this morning they have pecked it and he is bleeding again. The only thing I know to do is separate him again for a longer period of time. Does anyone have any better ideas?
Thanks,
Steve

I would keep him isolated for a bit until it starts to heal. Once you put him back with the flock, cover the injured area with Blu-Kote thoroughly.
