I would appreciate anyone taking a look at my pictures and see if you can give me some suggestions as to what to do with this Roo. I dont think it is illness, he was fine one day and the next he had lost feathers from his backside and bum. A possum/coon must have grabbed him thru the fence. Hes a big buff brahma and he will fight back. He acts fine, I did notice the other chickens pecking at his bum though. I read it might be due to more protein needed so I feed them cooked ground beef with egg in it a couple of times a week. Im not sure what I should do. Thanks for your help. I hope the pictures are clear.

Is he your only rooster in that pen? If not I would separate him, and let him grow some feathers back covering his skin up - or else they will continue to munch and pull out his growing feathers, even making him more bald.

I would dust with sevin dust or spray with adams flea spray just to make sure he doesn't have any bugs on him.

Extra protein is definitely a good idea to help him grow his feathers back.

Yes he is the only rooster in there. I have another pen but there is no safe coop inside it. I can maybe get it safe and warm for him though. I thought about taking him out, but wasnt sure what to do!
