I am in the middle of building my run for ducklings, (who are btw not here and are being born).
ouch ouch ouch it hurts. and i cant wait to go to work!! ugh!
I hit my forehead on wood or the fencing... i dont remember. i just continued on...
all in the name of soon to be (duck love)
heres a picture of the run.. not finished, i still have to buy more wood and cement and bunch of other little stuff.
if it looks crooked its not, its me, and my i photo booth computer laptop.
The picture is funny because the duck coop (the yellow one) is actually on the right side, but when taken with a computer camera, appears opposite. strange concept. dang real camera broken.
anyways, notice the pink pool!!! love that!!

besides the scar, that cover-up barely did a good job, i have also stepped on a nail today, went thru my plastic shoes, great. starting off real good this week. [IMG]

As I was working on the duck pen last year, I kept singing to myself, "What I did for love . . . . ."

Few injuries, though - bigger muscles, though!

oh, yeah, I did walk into a door frame once. ouch.

Oh, and I sprained my ankle for the first time in my life (I am - uhm, - mature)

Do take care of yourself! We want the duckies to have a functional person!

I had a hyper extended elbow sprain from shoveling dirt and digging out bushes when i first started on mine last year and, just recently, sprained a tendon in my wrist and hand when i was cleaning a lot of the rocks in my aviary from the past winter freezing.

Hope you get better and can avoid some of the heckling at work.

I took a break from working on the run today. it was kinda chilly too.
i have to still pick up 11 more pieces of wood and 3 cans of white spray paint, then i can finish the run, and do the cement pouring around the sides, when the weather is alot warmer.

mmm i still have to cut out the pop-door, have all the hardwire, and oh yeah build the door to the run. ugh. exhausted already just thinking about it. atleast the building for the ducks is already built.

funny they will be indoors for about 8 ish weeks, so i have awhile. just want it done already.
