So I have 6 baby chicks, I picked them up from the feed store the other day, they were all in a big bin with alot of others, i got them home and noticed something off with ones eye. I dont know if it is a injury like a peck or something worse like mycroplasma or eye worm or whatever. Im hoping someones seen this before, the other chicks are fine, and this one acts fine other than the eye, eats drinks plays ect.

I think I would try some warm wet compresses on her eye while holding her to try and soften the crust around her eye. You can find Vetericyn eye wash or eye gel , or Terramycin eye ointment in many feed stores, and use it twice a day. Pecking is very common in chicks, so hopefully it will heal. Eyeworm is most likely not the problem. That is uncommon and usually found in tropical locations where chickens have been on soil where the Surinam cockroach lives.
