Injury or illness?

My rooster has some black spots and areas on his comb and “ear” flaps and his eye is partially closed with some discoloration around it. Is this an injury from a squabble? Or something like pox or an illness? He is isolating himself.

It seems as I am looking at him he also has some broken feathers

He must have wrangled with something or someone.

I still would love any info someone might have.

It seems more flat and scabby than you would typically see with fowl pox, but i dont guess you can rule that out just for that. The crusty eyes and nostrils is indicating some kind of irritation and drainage. Perhaps something respiratory, or perhaps something fungal. Is he the only one with these symptoms?

As i zoom in and take a closer look, it does apear to look like fowl pox. I can see some new looking lesions as well.
