Input on breed or age of my hen?

We just got this girl & the guy didn't have much info on her. I think she is a mottled Cochin but I'm new to the chicken game. Thank you!

Not a cochin since she has what looks like muffs/beard. Maybe a mottle duccle (sp)

I googled that and she does look like that! What or where is the muff?

Muff is the feathers sticking out on the spot where her cheeks would be. The beard, under the beak.

Looks like a speckled sussex to me.

I just looked at the Sussex & she favors more of the d'uccle I think.

Speckled sussex don't have feathered shanks, muffs or beards. They are also red, black, white.
