Hello Everyone,

Our egg production is increasing and so are our sales. We started out by word of mouth and a small ad in local paper. My question is how many of you feel the need to carry any type of liability insurance for selling your eggs to the public? We currently sell around 30 dozen or more per week with more folks wanting to sign up. I appreciate your feedback and sorry if I have posted in the wrong area, wasn't sure just where. Thanks, Dee

Interesting question, I don't sell eggs, but I sometimes worry about that even when giving eggs away occasionally. I wonder if an umbrella policy would cover any sort of potential law suit.
