Yes and no... In cats, I give it subcutaneously with a small bolus of fluids to help avoid the injection site problems that are sometimes seen with it. In birds, I almost always give it orally, but sometimes I'll give the first dose IM if the bird looks really sick.Interesting that Baytril is to be administered orally as well after the first treatment - has anyone ever done this?
