I have a mix roo, I think his daddy may have had some game bird in him, what do you think? The mother was either an australorp, BO, or a SLW. I know the father possibly had a pea comb too so the mother is not necessarily the wyandotte... His name is Raven, has large eyes and is pretty to my eyes. He is about 14 weeks old. He has a lot longer tail than I am used to ... and his neck seems longer than my usual roos.

Thank you, I think so. I am enjoying the mixed breed birds a lot this year, just fun waiting to see what they are going to be like. Raven is funny in that he doesn't really open his beak to crow so it sounds really muffled!? All my other roos crank their beaks pretty wide to get that sound out... makes me laugh to watch him though.

I think he is a sumatra cross.

Tell me about sumatras? What makes you think so? I really don't know the game breeds at all...

How about the Aseel? Comb and build are similar, although I do not own any.

Not an expert, but I would say possibly Asil or Thai.
