This morning our chicken had a heavy pallet fall on her after it fell off of a bin. She got out on her own, and we didn't think it actually hit her. This afternoon my son went in to interact with them and noticed blood on her bum. Any advice?

How is she behaving? Running around as normal or is she lethargic?

I was just out with her and she keeps closing her eyes...... and she had a lot of dried blood on her bottom. When she poops there is blood and the others run right over and eat it.
I put her in the messing box to relax but I think she isn't going to make it. .

I'm sorry to hear of your hens struggle. Is there any way you could take her to a vet?

Could you give her some baby aspirin to help her relax? You can dissolve it in water and syringe it in her or put it in some yogurt.

Awe, that sounds bad. I'm sorry it happened. I think asprin might be bad because it may cause her to bleed more.....It thins blood.

Hugs and you're doing all you can do really, in my humble opinion, by keeping her quiet and keeping the other chickens away from her.....

I'm sorry I suggested that! I was thinking of easing pain I didn't stop to think of it as a blood thinner.
