Introducing silkies

I have one silky chicken that we took from the other chicken because they was beating her up. We built another coop just for the silky and I am getting 5 more silkies given to me. What is the best way to introduce my silky to the new ones I am getting Monday. I hatched this silkie and don't want it hurt. Also how do i tell if I have a male or female?
