So, I could not stand having the babies in the house any longer. They kept getting out of the brooder, and pooing all over the laundry room. They are old enough to be outside, and it is about to be too cold for me to be comfortable just throwing them out w/ no gradule intro to changing weather so, out they went! I set up my introduction pen in the run (usually, it has a top on it, but I seem to have misplaced it) just to make sure none of the babies escaped. I came back to check on them, and this is what I found
Ichabod (aka Sammi) decided the straw in the baby pen was WAY more fun than the very same straw that I had just laid down in the rest of the run
This is not the first time they have seen eachother...I have a small 8 x 3 x 3 metal frame structure with chicken wire stretched over it that I have put the babies in a couple of times durring the day, but hey, I am still proud of my girls for being so good!
Guess I don't have to worry about my big girls hurting them!
