Hey all! This is Brutus! He is a 26 wk. old Welsummer roo that I got from spatcher. He came from AussieSharon's stock. We are working on a little bit of an attitude adjustment, but in time, I think he will make a great rooster for my two Wellie pullets. My fingers are crossed anyways!

    So what does everyone think?!?!

I took this just a few minutes ago when I was out in the run tossing sunflower seeds to everyone.

Good looking roo. I've heard isolating a roo from the girls for a month will calm them down.

Quote:Yeah! See why I had to have him Cyn?!?! I think he'll calm down in time. Right now he's just trying to get over being humbled by a little grey ball of fluff (my Silkie rooster that is now at spatcher's!) in front of the girls. He's not trying to go at me when I step into the run or coop, so that's a good sign. I'm just going to stick with rooster-reds tactics and see if I can't get him where I want him.

Henry - I'm doing my best to put him in place. I think he's learning. [IMG]

LittleChickenRacingTeam - If he doesn't come around (which I think he's starting to) I will try that. Solitary confinement usually chills a lot of people out!

spatcher - Will do Tim! Give 'ole TAZ a squeeze for Madison, won't you?

Thank you so much everyone! I think he's quite handsome and will make a great breeding stock rooster once he learns who's the alpha roo around here. [IMG]
