Introducing week old silkie to our 4 day old chicks

So my family and I have dove into the backyard chicken adventure and we are so excited, but we have a question.
We brought home 4 chicks on Wednesday and they were a day old and today we brought home a silkie who is probably around a (guessing) week, week and a half old.
We put the silkie in with the other 4 and they were pecking at her eye and all the fluff she has. So we put her in her own brooder, but now she is all alone and I know that can't be good for her to be all by herself.
So do I put her back in with the others and let them work it out or wait until she gets bigger? She is going to be smaller then all of them when they are all full grown, but she is very docile and doesn't stick up for herself so I am afraid she is going to lose her eye(s).
Just a first time chicken mom and not sure what to do!

I would try to separate her in the same brooder as the other chicks using wire or hardware cloth. This way they can be introduced to each other slowly and the silkie won't feel as alone.

I agree. I had 4 chicks that were a few days old and 5 chicks that were 2 weeks old separated in the same brooder by wire. Eventually they all got used to each other and I was able to combine them all.
