I'm having a heck of a time getting the flock to not mangle my 3 month old white crested polish. At two months I introduced her with 2 silkie bantams and a houdan. My older chickens pecked her to bleeding on one wing. I took her out to nurse her back to health for a month. I tried putting her back again and they pecked her even worse in the first 15 minutes. Any ideas? I cut her crest so she could see better but, that didn't work.
    HELP!

[IMG] Sadly enough, Polish frequently are targeted by other larger birds. She may never be accepted, and you may need to rehome her or set her up in a separate pen with the silkies.

I was afraid of this. I love her so much I think I'll just build another coup for her and my fancy ladies. The layers are just too hard on the purty ladies:)
