Hi everyone!
We are incubating eggs for our second year at the nature center and are considering keeping one or two of the hens to add to our small flock. We have three hens from last year's hatch. What is the best way to do this? I read a couple of posts that talked about putting the new hen(s) in a crate outside the yard for a while then introducing them into the coop at night. What age can they be introduced? Is it possible that it just won't work? Should we try introducing two at the same time or will that cause more problems?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Melanie
