I just registered with BYC. I grew up on a dairy farm where we also had a flock of chickens. I haven't committed myself to having hens in the yard, but I am considering it. My Swedish heritage has recently become more important to me. The Swedish Flower Hens and Fifty-Five Flowery hens appeal to me. I went to Sweden this year to visit my aunt and came home with a puppy as a "memento" of my visit. I might add some Swedish hens to our family.
