Hi! I am new to this forum and new to raising chickens in the states. I was a missionary in Haiti and have recently moved back to the states. I have rasied chickens in Haiti for over 10 years but things are much different here. I have not yet chosen where I will live but want to have about 5 acres in order to raise chickens and pigs and rabbits plus have a garden. I would like to move into the area wehre Georgia, South Carollina, North Carolina, and Tennessee all come together. I wondered if anyone could tell me how I can find out what zones allow you to raise livestock and if any of you live in this zone? I am currently working in FL but hope to move up there by spring. I sure do enjoy reading all the interesting and amusing articles you all write. God bless!!!!
