My name is Jamie. I joined this group to network. I just started chickens as a hobby. I have True Araucana, Amerucana, Barred Rock, Silver-Laced, Buff Cochin, Buff orpington, Black Astrolorp, Rhode Island Reds, Mille D'uccle, and a few of each. I'm having a lot of fun learning about how to take care of the chickens, hatch, breed, and sell correctly. I'd love to trade, buy, sell, talk, and anything else allowed. I'm sure all of you have lot's of information. Looking forward to meeting you.

Hi Jamie. Sounds like you have a great flock and a great variety. That's what we like the best is the variety. We have 1 Rhode Islands, 1 Leghorn, 1 Welsummer, 1 Wheaten Maran, 1 Blue splashed Copper Maran, 1 Blue Laced Wyandotte, and 2 Black Stars. It's nice to know that you distinguish between "TRUE" araucana and amerucana. A lot of people do not know the difference or that there is a difference. Post photos when you can that would be great. Good luck and welcome!

    Angela (dsquawker)
