Iowa Blue temperament?

Can anyone tell me what type temperament the Iowa Blues have, especially the roosters?
Are they fliers or happily contained? Aggressive or friendly?

I have two Iowa Blue hens. They are very broody and set pretty much all the time. They are both very aggressive on their nest too. They seem to be pretty flighty when they are not setting.

I don't really care for them especially when they take a dive at my head.

Sorry no advice on roosters though.
