She won't allow chickens in her city because, her numbers, she has found a 25/75 for/against having birds.

Have been listening on NPR today, now it is call in time and all these urban chicken farmers are on. Nice job!

NPR on point did a segment on urban / backyard chickens, and the mayor of Iowa City, IA was a guest. Currently, the city does not permit keeping chickens in residential areas. She gave various reasons for her support of the status quo. Callers did a good job of setting her straight.
