Hi! :frow

I want to see your poultry’s feathers, particularly their iridescence! I love beautiful, shiny, multicolored feathers. They can be black, blue, red, buff, any pattern, any color!

The photo just has to show some iridescence on a poultry feather. That is the main rule.

Please Read!!!
Rules:

Feathers Must show some amount of iridescence. Any color is allowed, a sheen of blue, green, purple, etc.

Any poultry is allowed: chickens, ducks, quail, geese, etc.

The feather must be on the poultry.

Preferably it is a close up of a feather, but it’s ok if it’s a full body pictures, or that type of thing.

3 entries per member

An entry can have up to 3 photos

Please post as clear of a photo as you can.

Ends June 25th, 2021

Breed: Barnyard Mix (Delaware daddy, could be a sex link mom or maybe Lavender Orpington? But leaning toward the sex link)
Name: Mumble
Mumble was hatched by my insistently broody faverolles hen. 1st babies hatched by us and her 🥰 He/she was the last one to hatch, it's siblings hatched the day before and 2 days before it, so mom was more than ready to get the babies out and eating by the time he/she came along. Babes wasn't even fully dried off yet, and this little thing was chasing around after it's much more agile siblings, using it's wings to help it balance. All I could see was Happy Feet when I saw him😁 He/she has beautiful blues and purples on those new feathers💕
