I have a Silkie with an extra toenail on one foot, and a Showgirl with an extra nail on both feet. I seem to remember reading that a missing or an extra toenail is a DQ. If so, where is this stated? I checked the SOP and find no mention of toenail in either the Silkie section or the General Disqualification section. It only says that "more or less than five toes" is a disqualification.

    Here is the Showgirl:

If that is an extra toe nail, she has them on both feet.

Don't know how true this is, one website I just checked on considers double toenails a sixth toe, which is a no no.

  5. Judges do not normally DQ for an extra toes nail, but should and do for extra toes.
